Schimmel Fitness Small Group Training
We believe that each individual in our group exercise classes is exactly that, an individual. We limit our classes to no more than 15 participants so we can instruct each person and adapt the movements to their unique needs.
More than just a workout, “SPINNING” is a comprehensive mental and physical training program. Led by a certified instructor, Spinning program classes combine a foundation of basic cycling movements with motivational coaching techniques, breathing awareness and heart rate training in specified Energy Zones. Participants burn an average of 500 calories in 40 minutes of non-impact, individually paced cardiovascular exercise. Inspirational music and a non-competitive environment ensure a fun, safe, and effective journey for participants of all ages and fitness levels. The SPINNER bike allows each student to control his/her exertion level while still enjoying the motivation of a group setting. These innovations create a unique experience that has transformed the essence of group exercise.
Schimmel Fitness and the Spinning program welcome participants of all fitness levels. Whether you are a beginning exerciser or a skilled athlete we all start at the same place and successfully complete our 40-minute workout together.

Athletes can expect to improve acceleration, top speed, lower body power, and anaerobic conditioning. Running mechanics are analyzed and improved and body awareness is greatly enhanced. With different programs lasting from 4 to 12 weeks. Jason Brock, Schimmel Fitness’ sports performance expert can administer a program that is based on scientific principles along with original research on training for sports speed and quickness.
Goals for each athlete will be to develop and maintain quality training pillars that will give them a leg up on the competition now and in the future.
Our fitness boot camp is a type of exercise that mixes traditional calisthenic and body weight exercises with interval training and strength training. While there are a variety of styles of fitness boot camps, ours is designed in a way that pushes the participants harder than they would push themselves while allowing for a variety of fitness levels from beginners to advanced trainees.
Each participant receives personal instruction within the group setting. Every exercise is adapted to the individuals unique needs and limitations. Listen and Learn. Along with basic instruction, nuggets of fitness wisdom are delivered throughout the class period. Our goal is to have you walk or crawl away from every class with more knowledge about yourself, exercise, and the fitness lifestyle.
"Fit to a Tee" Golf Program
Welcome to “Fit to a Tee” golf fitness program. Where fitness can make your game more enjoyable. Distance off the tee, accuracy of your shots and endurance to hold up to the many swings or distance you walk are all determined by our physical abilities. The amount of flexibility, mobility, stability, strength, power, speed, and balance are some of the components of golf that can be improved with an individualized golf fitness program. The program will consist of a biomechanical fitness evaluation that assesses your strengths, weaknesses and postural issues that can cause swing faults and possible injuries. The assessment will continue with a swing analysis. Typically finding a correlation between physical limitations and swing faults. With this information, a specific exercise plan is designed to help individuals work to improve on their limitations. Call Karen at 740-454-2705 for an appointment to get started on positive changes to help you enjoy golf for a lifetime.
